Halle Berry Set For High ‘Tide’ At Box Office

It appears the “Tide” is set to carry Halle Berry back to the box office.

Halle is in talks to star in the action/thriller “Dark Tide,” according to Variety.

The film focuses on a female diving instructor who returns to the deep after a near-fatal accident with a Great White shark.

“Dark Tide” will be helmed by Clark Johnson, whose directorial credits include “The Sentinel,” “S.W.A.T.” and the FOX TV series “Lie To Me.”

Shooting is slated to begin later this year in South Africa.

Halle was last seen on the big screen in the 2007 thriller “Perfect Stranger.” She recently wrapped production on the psychological drama “Frankie and Alice,” co-starring Stellan Skarsgard, about a young woman struggling with multiple personalities.
