Halle Berry Shares Story Of Losing Her Daughter, Thoughts On Playing Oprah & Being Naked

A recent shopping trip turned a bit dramatic for Halle Berry when she misplaced a certain personal belonging — her daughter!

The Oscar winner made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing on Monday where she dished about losing her 2-year-old daughter, Nahla, in a department store.

When Ellen DeGeneres asked Halle about her recent department store alarm she confessed, “She was standing there and I had her hand and then all of a sudden, I looked down at a price tag or something and she toddled off for what seemed like two seconds and then the next thing I know, I looked back around and it was like whoosh. Gone. I said, ‘Nahla? Nahla? Nahla?’ And my heart just started…And I’m like, ‘Close the store! Shut the door! My daughter’s gone!’

“After I became a lunatic and totally embarrassed myself, Nahla stuck her head out (of a rounder of clothes) and was like, ‘Hi,’” she added.

Besides sharing her department store scare, Halle also set the record straight about any rumors that she will be playing Oprah in a film about the TV talker’s life story.

“I’m not going to play Oprah,” the 44-year-old began. “I was like, ‘Hey, Oprah, Am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this…’ I don’t know where these rumors come from.”

However, there was another revealing topic that Halle had no problems confirming.

“I heard a rumor that you very much enjoy being naked,” Ellen pressed.

“I do like being naked,” Halle laughed.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” the talk show host teased. “I’ve heard of people that actually clean their house naked. Do you clean your house naked?”

“No, I don’t clean my house naked,” Halle said.

“Do you just walk about the house naked? Like during the day? You just don’t put clothes on?” Ellen probed.

“Sometimes,” the actress revealed to Ellen.
