Today was our fourth annual Halloween Costume Fashion show on Access Hollywood Live…one of our most popular segments.
It is also very popular around here because we always use the kids of Access staff members for the show.
My 4-year-old daughter and her baby sister, who is three-and-a-half-months-old, both got to “walk the catwalk” today! LOL!
My older girl was Marie Antoinette and, of course, she had no idea who she was! But the costume was fantastic… a cute dress from H&M paired with embellished tights and black patent shoes. The blonde wig, which was also from H&M, even featured a small ship head piece… a nod to the real Marie Antoinette, who was known for wearing outrageous hats including one shaped like a ship. A purse shaped like pug completed the ensemble.
Our baby was Super Girl! I didn’t even know they made costumes that small, but it included a onesie with tutu, tights and a headband. I know I’m biased, but boy, it was adorable!
Style expert Melissa Magsaysay was brave enough to tackle finding costumes for more than 20 kids! She highlighted several big costume trends of the year. We had a whole crew of pirates (and a cute little mermaid!), Ninja Turtles, Superheroes, Monster High girls, Sully from “Monsters Inc.” and “Monsters University” and even a few minions from “Despicable Me.”
We even featured two dogs basset hounds dressed as DC Comics two most popular superheroes Superman and Batman!
