‘Harry Potter’ Stars ‘Devastated’ As Series Ends

After spending ten years together making the massive “Harry Potter” series, the stars are feeling the pain of the franchise coming to an end as they film the final scenes.

“I will be devastated [when it’s over],” series stars Daniel Radcliffe told People Wednesday at the National Movie Awards in London. “There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end.”

His co-star Emma Watson likens the end of filming to a death.

“I feel like someone is dying,” the 20-year-old beauty told the mag. “This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud.”

Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the movies, told the mag she’s looking forward to a break.

“I am not planning to do an awful lot this summer,” she said. “I will take a bit of a break and enjoy that, really.”

Daniel explained that he’s not sure what he’ll do after stepping down as the world’s most famous boy-wizard.

“I hope I can find some kind of employment after this,” the 20-year-old actor said. “Otherwise, I know panto, I suppose.”

Daniel has at least one job lined up – he’s scheduled to head back to Broadway next year in a revival of the musical, “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” opens in theaters on November 19.
