‘Hart Of Dixie’ Star Jaime King Reveals She Suffered 5 Miscarriages

Jaime King gave birth to a baby boy, James, nine months ago, but the “Hart of Dixie” star revealed she suffered from severe infertility issues which made the birth even more special.

In a picture of a note she posted on Instagram on Friday, the 35-year-old actress stated she struggled for eight years before having a successful pregnancy.

“8 yrs of pain & undiagnosed PSOC [Polycystic ovary syndrome] & Endometriosis, 5 miscarriages, 5 rounds of IVF [In vitro fertilization],” she wrote in the note. “26 IUIs [Intrauterine insemination], most with no outcome, 4-1/2 years of trying to conceive, 26 hours of brutal labor, early delivery b/c of sudden preeclampsia, tearing and tearing after the stitches were in.”

And the problems just kept coming once she was back at home after giving birth.

“Once I was home, milk supply issues, painful mastitis, uncontrollable crying while breastfeeding,” the note continued.

The actress also revealed she “worked until the day I gave birth and went back 6 weeks after because I was afraid of letting others down.”

In the photo’s caption, Jaime said she shared her story in hopes of encouraging other women who may be suffering from the fertility setbacks.

“For all the women out there who think they are alone in this,” she wrote. “#youarenotalone #ihavetobebravetosupportothers #realtalkhatterrifiesus.”
