Has Bravo Vetoed ‘The Real Housewives of Washington D.C.’?

Is “The Real Housewives of Washington D.C.” not coming back for another term in office?

According to Radar Online, the Bravo series will not return for a second season.

“The show just didn’t do well and it wasn’t worth airing another season,” a source close to the situation reportedly told the website.

“The D.C. housewives were meant to be starting shooting their second season now and they haven’t heard a peep from Bravo,” the source continued. “No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is cancelled.”

A rep for Bravo told Access Hollywood that “no decision has been made yet” regarding the future of the show set in the nation’s capitol.

The show centered on the lives of socialite Mary Schmidt Amons, talent agency owner Lynda Erkiletian, British import and author Catherine “Cat” Ommanney, real estate agent Stacie Scott Turner and alleged White House party crasher Michaele Salahi – who dominated most of the season as her life with husband Tareq played out in the headlines.

If cancelled, the fifth installment of the popular Bravo franchise would be the first to end after just one season.
