Has ‘Modern Family’s’ Sofia Vergara Made Good On Her Naked Emmy Award Run?

If you blinked, you might have missed it.

Following “Modern Family’s” Outstanding Comedy Emmy win at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards, Sofia Vegara claimed to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush that she ran down Sunset Boulevard naked.

In July, the team behind ABC’s “Modern Family” took out an ad in the trade magazines claiming “If Modern Family wins the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy, Sofia Vergara will run naked down Sunset Blvd.”

“I did the run and I came back,” Sofia – who interestingly was wearing the same dress she wore during the Emmys ceremony in downtown Los Angeles — told a skeptical Billy.

“That fast?” Access’ Billy asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Yes, I mean, I’m fast. I run fast,” she laughed.

“You wanted to get it out of the way and you got back in your dress so quickly?” Billy continued.

“They zipped me and they sent me to do press,” she smiled.

Sofia may not have actually done the run and returned to the event (the ad did note that another cast member could be substituted for the honor), but she is considering it.

“Would you step up to the plate?” Billy asked.

“Listen, I’m not afraid of anything. I’m Colombian,” Sofia said proudly.

Earlier in the night on the red carpet the actress told Billy that her small screen husband might step in for her.

“The good thing is that Ed O’Neill said that he will back me up in case something happens and I cannot do it. He’s gonna do it too,” she said.
