HBO Unveils Stark-Themed Fan Poster For ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 2

HBO unveiled the first in a series of brand new “Game of Thrones” fan posters on Tuesday.

The new poster features the symbol (in “GOT” speak “sigil”) for the Stark family (the late Eddard, and his children – Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon) – a direwolf — in blood.

The image is painted on a fur-themed background and is printed underneath the words, “The North Remembers.”

As fans will remember, Robb Stark’s armies pledged their loyalty to Ned Stark’s eldest son, at the end of Season 1, and crowned him King in the North.

The image comes just two weeks after HBO unveiled the “War Is Coming” poster promoting Season 2, which returns April 1 at 9 PM on HBO.

A brand new trailer to promote Season 2 premiered on HBO Go last Friday, and is now available to watch online by clicking HERE.

Rory McCann, who plays Sandor Clegane, aka “The Hound,” recently spoke with AccessHollywood.com and hinted King Joffrey, who was responsible for the death of Ned in Season 1, will be trouble again as Season 2 resumes.

“The power, as you can imagine, will be going to [Joffrey’s] head and the real bully will be coming out,” Rory said.
