Healthy Hollywood: Fab Food Friday – Paula Abdul’s Secret Anti-Aging Weapon!

Hard to believe Paula Abdul is just one year shy of 50! “The X Factor” judge looks gorgeous and certainly can hold her own with women half her age.

Good genes and a lifelong love of dance certainly play a part in her ageless beauty. Paula’s go-to-skin-guy, Scott-Vincent Borba, author of “Skintervention,” also helps keep her skin fresh and vibrant.

Good news for us, you don’t need super pricey Hollywood treatments to fight off those wrinkles. Scott-Vincent dropped by Access Hollywood Live to show Billy Bush & Kit Hoover how to look five years younger in just five minutes using five simple products found in your kitchen.

Scott-Vincent shared with Healthy Hollywood his recipes for 5 anti-aging treatments.

5 Ingredients:
Honey
Milk
Oatmeal
Eggs
Mayonnaise

1. Honey, Oatmeal & Milk Body Scrub:
This is an incredibly easy (and inexpensive) scrub to exfoliate away dry, dead skin cells and help even out skin tone. Afterward, apply a body butter to skin.

How-to:
Combine 1/4 cup oatmeal, 3 tablespoons honey, and 3 tablespoons milk. Use as an all-over exfoliant.

2. Mayo Hair Treatment:
Mayo is a very emollient and reparative hair mask, as well as intensive soak for feet and hands.

How-to:
Apply 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and rub through hair. Leave on for at least 5 minutes. If hair is severely dry, leave it on overnight; just be sure to cover with shower cap before going to bed.

3. Egg/Honey Firming Facial Mask:
This mask is rich in vitamins, proteins, and helps reduce bacteria caused breakouts.

How-to:
Mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon honey, apply thin layer to face. Leave on until completely dry (approximately 5-8 minutes) and rinse.

4. Milk Soak:
Lactic acid helps to even out melanin (skin pigment) and helps brighten overall skin tone.

How-to:
Pour 1 gallon milk into warm tub. Soak for approximately 15-20 minutes (or as needed).

5. Mayo/Oatmeal Skin Calmer:
Mayo helps hydrate skin, while oatmeal is a natural anti-inflammatory. This is the perfect combo to help soothe dry, itchy skin.

How-to:
Combine 1 cup oatmeal and 1 cup mayonnaise, apply to skin. Rinse off after approximately 10-15 minutes for best results.
