Healthy Hollywood: Get Movin’ Monday – Emma Roberts’ Get Fit, Have Fun!

There’s no such thing as a ho-hum workouts for young Hollywood actress Emma Roberts. The former star of Nickelodeon’s kid hit, “Unfabulous,” is all grown-up and having some adult fun. Now, 20, she’s discovered pole dancing.

The “Women’s Health” cover girl reveals in April’s issue that, “I started taking classes with friends as a way to both work out and hang out. You don’t realize how much upper-body strength you need!” Emma reveals. Plus, as an added perk, this sexy workout gives her killer confidence. Something she certainly needed as a terrorized student in the upcoming “Scream 4.”

The petite Emma is also a big fan of Pilates. “You wake up in the morning feeling a lot better. Also, I carry stress in my neck and back, and Pilates loosens everything up and keeps me flexible,” Emma reveals to “Women’s Health.”

Besides fitness, she’s also dedicated to healthier eating. She admits, “When I was [younger], I would eat whatever I wanted. My mom told me to eat healthier, not for the outside but for the inside. A lot of women feel like they have to eat healthy to be skinny, but [for me] it’s not about that.” Wise words from the young star. Perhaps she picked up some of her sensible attitude from her famous Aunt, Julia, who also lives a healthy and grounded life.
