Healthy Hollywood: Try It On Tuesday – Fundraise With Justin Bieber!

You’ve got to love Justin Bieber!

Unlike other misbehaving young celebs (aka Lindsay Lohan), Justin is not only talented and super cute – but he’s got a huge heart to give back. Justin has teamed up with a Pencils of Promise to inspire young kids to fundraise and help educate a child in need.

Pencils of Promise is an awesome organization dedicated to increasing access to quality education in developing countries. The charity has launched its School4All campaign, which features Justin challenging his fans to raise money to help build a new school. And, here’s the real kicker, every student/school that raises $25 will have a chance to receive a visit from the Biebs. Now, that’s motivation!

“I wanted to give every one of my fans a chance to help others and bring me to their school for just $25,” reveals Justin. Just $25 educates a child in a Pencils of Promise school. “Today we can educate a new child with every $25 donation, and this campaign will enable thousands of students to help other children around the world,” adds founder Adam Braun.

The fundraising challenge will run through January 31, 2013, every $25 raised will count as a lottery ticket entry for a visit from Justin. At the end of the campaign, Pencils of Promise will pull one winning lottery ticket and the top 3 fundraising schools will win free flights for selected students to meet Justin at the Grand Prize winning school. “The Schools4All campaign is a way for us young people to make a change, and I’ll get to thank an entire school in person,” adds Justin.

After all, it’s never too early to get kids involved and realize the importance of volunteering/giving back to those who have less. It’s a great self-esteem builder and looks good on the college apps.

“Once a day, there’s 61 million children who need your help, so join the movement of students for students and make your voice heard,” Justin tweeted over the weekend.
