Healthy Hollywood: Wellness Wednesday – Radiate Like Bride-To-Be Jessica Biel!

If you’re not feeling that inner radiance – no worries! Right now, is the perfect season to fake it! According to celebrity makeup artist Laura Geller, summer is the time to create a rosy, natural glow that will help lift your spirits. “The best way to achieve a natural, radiant and safe summer glow is through bronzing. I suggest selecting a bronzer with multi-hues so it color corrects skin flaws and looks natural on every skin tone. A bronzer that offers a few different tones works to warm the skin, counterbalance redness and add depth of color.”

To achieve the most natural look, Geller (who has her own signature makeup line) suggests applying bronzer with a large fluffy brush, alone or on top of foundation as a finishing powder. “You can also use a luminous primer under your bronzer (or mix a dollop with moisturizer) to add a soft glow to skin. When applying bronzers to body use either with puff or a big kabuki brush. You can apply body bronzer everywhere skin is exposed to add a kiss of color all-over,” adds Gellar. Skin’s summer glow also lets women spend less time in the bathroom mirror. “Summer is definitely the time to pare down on the amount of products we apply, as well as a great time to switch over to multi-benefit, lightweight formulas.
