Heather Mills Close To Reaching Divorce Settlement With Macca?

LONDON, England (March 12, 2007) — Heather Mills may be closer to divorcing Beatle Paul McCartney after a British tabloid reported this past weekend she had been offered a $58 million settlement.

Mills has been battling with Macca in British court for months, but reported on Sunday, things may be winding down. The landmine campaigner is rumored to have accepted a $58 million settlement offer, which includes cash and property to dissolve her marriage with the rock legend.

The paper also reports, Mills may be giving up the fight for sole custody of the couple?s three-year-old daughter Beatrice to the ex-Beatle.

?Heather has caved in on lots of things — including the money demands and sole custody of daughter Beatrice,? a source close to McCartney?s camp told the publication. ?We now expect her to settle.?

According to the paper, Mills may be receiving McCartney?s $7.7 million dollar home in London?s high end St John?s Wood area.

In an interview with Mills earlier today however, she denied the rumor telling Access Hollywood it was ?rubbish.?

Access Hollywood called reps for McCartney, but they could not be reached at press time.

In other Mills? news, she will head to the US shortly to join the cast of ?Dancing With the Stars,? set to begin its fourth season on ABC.
