Three cheers for “Glee’s” Heather Morris!
McKinley High’s favorite Cheerio has reportedly caught the eye of Hollywood execs – the 23-year-old actress/dancer is being considered for a theatrical reboot of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
“They’re considering me!” Heather told Access, at an event for FLIRT cosmetics (for which Heather is a paid spokesperson) in Los Angeles on Thursday. “I found out and I almost peed my pants ‘cause I was so excited!”
The bubbly blonde is such a fan of the stake-wielding heroine that she doesn’t care how large her role is – as long as she gets to be involved.
“If they make [‘Buffy’] when [‘Glee’] is on hiatus, I don’t even care what I do,” Heather laughed. “I can just run through the shot and do nothing – even if I’m not Buffy!”
Heather also dished details on her two tiny new friends, Apple and Moses (Gwyneth Paltrow’s children with husband Chris Martin). The actress bonded with the kids while their Academy Award-winning mom shot her guest appearance on the hit FOX show.
“I just love hanging out with little kids ‘cause they’re just so innocent and fun,” Heather told Access. “[Apple] came in [to my trailer] with her iPad and was showing me this fish tank she had, and [she and Moses] were just showing me all of these things on their iPad. It was fun.
“I think just ‘cause I’m a dancer and I was, you know, doing silly things they probably were drawn to it ‘cause I’m a quirk,” she added. “I’m a silly girl.”
Heather also gave major props to the adorable kids’ mom, the glorious Gwyneth.
“She was amazing, and she was so nice and so real,” Heather raved. “She was a really hard worker, which was like, the most inspiring because she’s been doing it forever and there was not a hint of diva. She was just hangin’ out and doing a hard job… she was with her kids the whole time, being a real mom. There wasn’t a babysitter on set.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Gwyneth will soon return to “Glee” to reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.
