Heather Morris has received rave reviews for her channeling of Britney Spears during last week’s episode of “Glee,” but there was one stamp of approval that was extra special for the actress – one from the pop princess, herself.
“She sent me some flowers and I got a note that said, ‘Good job. Love, Britney,’” Heather revealed to Access Hollywood.
However, the kind gesture has now left Heather – who plays ditzy one-line queen Brittany S. Pearce on the hit FOX show – in a tough situation.
“I got totally nervous because I don’t know what to send her back,” she joked. “I’m trying to figure that out.”
What does she have in mind?
“I think I’m going to make her a mug because there is that picture of her and I that she Tweeted – I think I’m going to make her a mug with our picture with flowers in it or something,” Heather added.
For her performances on “I’m A Slave 4 U” and “Me Against The Music” (which also featured co-star Naya Rivera), did Heather have to “Slave” away rehearsing in the dance studio to master the moves? Not so much.
“We only did like one day’s worth of rehearsals,” Heather, who is a former professional dancer, added.
“Just one day – she can do it in her sleep,” co-star Kevin McHale chimed in.
The Britney-themed episode brought in big ratings for the show, around 13.5 million viewers according to Nielsen, making it the second most-watched episode in “Glee” history.
