Heidi Klum: ‘I Was Very Scared’ As Son & Nannies Were Sucked Out To Sea By Riptide

Heidi Klum and her family’s Easter holiday had a brief scare when the waters in Hawaii got a bit treacherous.

The supermodel and “Project Runway” host was enjoying the holiday on the island when son Henry, 7, and two nannies were sucked into a riptide, People reported.

Heidi’s motherly instincts kicked in and she and boyfriend Martin Kristen acted quickly and saved the trio.

“We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water,” she told the mag.

Luckily her oldest son was skilled at swimming in the ocean.

“Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely,” her statement continued.

On Monday, Heidi and Henry were photographed – on dry land with big smiles – arriving back in Los Angeles from Hawaii.
