Heidi Klum: Next Season Of ‘Project Runway’ ‘Back In LA Again’

“Project Runway” premieres Thursday night on Lifetime from New York City, but host Heidi Klum says the show will probably return to the City of Angels, the home base of its sixth season.

“We like to change it up, we like to go back and fourth,” Heidi told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on Wednesday. “So, the [next season] will probably be back in LA again.”

And although Heidi, husband Seal and their kids are based in LA, the super model-turned-host said she and her family love the time they spend on the east coast.

“We kind of all move to New York. It’s fun. We all have this big hotel room. The children love New York,” Heidi continued. “New York is exciting!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Judge Michael Kors and style mentor Tim Gunn told People that they are both glad to be back in New York City for the new season.

“When you think about it, the walks from Parsons to Mood, you could have 500 inspirations within a minute,” Michael said. “The bar is raised. I think the energy level is full-tilt boogie. It’s New York. Nothing stops here.”

Tim agreed, adding, “I’m thrilled… this is my home. I’m happy I can sleep in my own bed.”

The seventh season of “Project Runway” debuts at 10 PM EST on Lifetime with guest judge Nicole Richie.
