Heidi Montag might be catching some flack for her lip-synched performance during the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday night – but the reality starlet said it was a high point of her career.
“last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!! i had so much fun!” Heidi wrote on her Twitter page on Monday. “my first performance! thank you God!”
The “Hills” star took the stage in a sequined bra and matching tight pants, as she performed her new single “Body Language” while a group of dancers danced behind her.
Prior to her performance, Spencer Pratt also hit up his Twitter page to ask for some divine intervention for his wife.
“Everyone I ask you to please say a huge prayer for @heidimontags first performance for 1billion eyes tonight on NBC for miss universe!” he wrote.
Before the pageant, Heidi said she was anxious to debut her skills in her first live performance.
“I think people don’t know what to expect, and how can they? It’s my first performance live and it’s in front of a billion eyes. So I’m very excited to show everyone what I’m coming with,” said Montag prior to her performance.
And afterwards, not only was she pleased with her routine, but she also hoped it could serve as a launching point.
“it only goes up from here!” she Tweeted.
