Helen Mirren might be a Dame and Russell Brand might be a newlywed, but that hasn’t stopped these British co-stars from sharing undergarments.
Access Hollywood caught up with Helen at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Tempest” on Monday, where the 65-year-old screen legend revealed that Russell bestowed upon her an intimate article of clothing.
“I am the proud owner of a pair of Russell’s yellow underpants,” Helen told Access. “Slightly soiled I might add.”
Despite her co-star’s wild reputation, according to Helen, the British comedian/actor was always a professional on set.
“He is an inventive and imaginative and immensely energetic person, but he’s not wild and anarchic and out of control, not at all,” Helen said of Russell, who she is also co-starring in the “Arthur” remake with.
