Helena Bonham Carter In Talks To Join ‘Terminator 4’

Helena Bonham Carter may be joining the “Terminator” franchise.

The British actress, known for her roles in “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” and “Fight Club” is in talks to join the fourth installment of the “Terminator” film series, Access Hollywood has learned.

Bonham Carter is in talks to play the lead villain in “Terminator Salvation,” a source tells Access. The new franchise is being produced by Warner Bros, not Fox.

The deal however, is not signed yet, but the brunette is in serious talks for the role. It is unclear whether Bonham Carter’s potential role would be that of a cyborg or a human.

“Terminator Salvation” already boasts an impressive cast including Christian Bale as John Connor and Bryce Dallas Howard, the daughter of film director Ron Howard, as Kate Connor, John’s wife.

Bonham Carter will next appear on screen in the sixth installment of the “Harry Potter” franchise –“Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,” reprising her role as Bellatrix Lestrange.
