Hilary Duff Back In California Thursday After Short Honeymoon

Hilary Duff may be sporting what’s reportedly a seven-figure wedding ring, but her honeymoon clocked in shockingly short. The former “Lizzie McGuire” Disney channel star was photographed by paparazzi getting a new ‘do at a Beverly Hills hair salon on Thursday after heading to Cabo San Lucas for her honeymoon a mere four days ago.

It’s doubtful that lack of funds were to blame for the hurried honeymoon – her new husband, NHL hockey player Mike “The Brick” Cormie, 29, is reportedly set to inherit his family’s near $500 million dollar appliance chain fortune, according to the NY Post.

It turns out that the reason for the short trip is that Hilary is set to begin work on “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” next week. The film will follow the many escapades of the infamous bank robbers, and also stars Taryn Manning and Kevin Zegers of “Transamerica” and “Gossip Girl” fame.

As previously reported on , the 22-year-old singer / actress wed Comrie on Saturday in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Hilary wore a mermaid gown by Vera Wang, and was reportedly escorted down the aisle by her mother, Susan Duff, dressed in Badgley Mischka, according to OK! Magazine.

A rep for Hilary was not immediately available for comment on the reason for the short honeymoon when contacted by Access Hollywood.
