Hilary Duff Denies Lip-Synching

After a video surfaced online that some claim, shows Hilary Duff lip-synching in concert, the young pop star’s camp is speaking out about the incident.

“She was not lip-synching. It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing,” a rep for the singer told E! News.

The incident in question occurred during a stop on her 2008 Dignity tour in Monterrey, Mexico.

“It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing,” her reps said Hilary was using locally provided equipment during the stop in Monterrey, according to E!.

The singer’s reps claim the microphone was set to mute for just a few moments, and was quickly fixed, which explains why her voice started up.

Hilary makes three more stops in Mexico, before moving on to Brazil and Australia.
