‘House Of Cards’ Drops Season 3 Teaser, Reveals Premiere Date

Hallelujah! The Underwoods will return with their cold, murderous, back-alley-dealing politics in a few months when “House of Cards” Season 3 premieres.

The streaming service announced the official third season premiere date on Monday, at the end of a teaser trailer released on Twitter.

In the brief, 12-second clip, newly-anointed President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and First Lady Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) are seen through the window of Air Force One, as the powerful couple heads up the stairs to board the Presidential plane.

Frank pauses on the stairs to stare into the camera as the Season 3 premiere date – February 27, 2015 – flashes across the screen.

“House of Cards” was nominated for 13 Emmy awards this year, including Outstanding Drama Series.
