‘Housewives’ Actor Gale Harold Out Of Intensive Care

Actor Gale Harold’s health is improving following a motorcycle accident earlier this month that landed the “Desperate Housewives” star in intensive care.

“Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily. A full recovery is expected,” a rep for the actor told Access Hollywood in a statement.

“He thanks everyone for their good wishes,” the statement went on to say.

Harold currently plays “Jackson,” Teri Hatcher’s character’s love interest in the 5th season of “Desperate Housewives.”

As previously reported on Access, the ABC show issued the following statement to Access: “Gale is part of the ‘Desperate Housewives’ family and our thoughts and wishes are with him for a speedy recovery.”

Teri told Access, “Gale has been an amazing addition to the cast of ‘Desperate Housewives.’ I am of course, deeply saddened by this tragic accident and pray for a quick, full recovery. He and his family have all my support and love.”

Gale is previously best well known for playing Brian Kinney in Showtime’s U.S. version of “Queer As Folk.”

He also starred in the short-lived 2006 FOX show, “Vanished.”
