At 85 years old, the sexual revolution continues for Hugh Hefner and the Playboy magnate is making no concession to age — well, almost…
“I am the father of the sexual revolution. I’m very proud of it,” Hef told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in a new interview, before adding that sex is still a big part of his life.
“I wouldn’t say that it was the same that it was when I was 50, but you know, I’m a romantic and I think sex is part of — sexual intimacy is part of it,” the octogenarian explained. “I just let the girls do a little more of the work!”
After suffering the pain of a broken engagement and breakup with Crystal Harris (just days before their scheduled June wedding), Hef has moved on with new girlfriends Anna Berglund and Shera Bechard. However, he said he has no plans for another planned trip down the aisle.
“Yes,” Hef answered, when asked if marriage is off the table for now. “What I’m looking for the rest of my life is a romantic relationship, one that really matters. So I would not count marriage out — it’s just not a high priority.”
As for how long the men’s mag mogul will remain at the helm of his Playboy empire, Hef said only death could force his retirement.
“I’m out when I’m dead,” he told Billy. “I think that doing what you love, work and play is what keeps you alive.”
