Hunger Games’ Alexander Ludwig Heads To History’s Vikings

Two new stars have joined the cast of Season 2 of History’s “Vikings.”

“The Hunger Games” actor Alexander Ludwig and “Law & Order’s” Linus Roache are now a part of the series, History announced on Tuesday.

Alexander will play Bjorn, described as “the intelligent and bold warrior son of Ragnar Lothbrok.” (Ragnar is played by Travis Fimmel.)

Linus is playing, Ecbert, King of Wessex, who History describes as “a man full of strength, knowledge and undisguised ambition.”

Production on the 10-episode Season 2 will begin this summer.
