Ian Ziering Talks ‘Sharknado 2’: More Sharks & Bigger Chainsaws

“Sharknado 2: The Second One” might be the cinematic event of the century (right?) and Access Hollywood got the scoop from star Ian Ziering on what to expect from the bigger, better and skarkier sequel.

“You’ll see other sharks, you’ll see more sharks you’ll see other marine life as well,” Ian told Access’ guest correspondent Tim Vincent on the New York City set.

And sharks won’t be the only thing raining down from the sky, wreaking havoc on the Big Apple.

“We’re not limiting it just to sharks this time. Those will be the apex predator but, you may see some octopus, you may see some other things,” he teased.

In the first movie, Ian carved out the insides of a shark with a chainsaw and he told Access to expect more of the same – but bigger!

“The chainsaw is bigger,” he said. “I raise my chainsaw into the air and it’s kind of like a rock god moment. … It’s so fun.”

“Sharknado 2: The Second One” is scheduled to premiere on Syfy in July.
