“The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Kandi Burruss has battled with her mother (affectionately named Mama Joyce on the Bravo series) about getting married to Todd Tucker, and now details from the couple’s April 4 wedding have been revealed.
The couple has shared their wedding day photos exclusively with In Touch Weekly and opened up about the lavish ceremony.
“The whole thing was like a fairy tale!” the Grammy-winning songwriter/reality star, who wore a custom $20,000 Reco Chapple gown, told the mag.

“I didn’t know if I was going to be able to pull this all together,” she said of the 300-guest wedding, which she planned in just one month. “I couldn’t wait around hoping things would get better. I just had to do it and hope for the best.”
Kandi’s bridesmaids included matron of honor Tamera Wynn, maid of honor Carmon Cambrice, rapper T.I.’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Fantasia Barrino, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Rasheeda Frost and “RHOA” co-star Phaedra Parks.
But what about Mama Joyce, who chastised Phaedra for introducing her daughter to Todd, called him an “opportunist” and even accused him of cheating on Kandi, did she cause an wedding day drama?

According to the mag, Mama Joyce was on her best behavior during the ceremony, but that didn’t stop her from throwing a little shade at her new son-in-law.
“Time will tell if Todd gets my blessing, but if Kandi’s happy, then I need to be happy for her,” Mama Joyce told the mag.
