Is Charlie Sheen Heading Back To ‘Two And A Half Men’?

Is Charlie Sheen poised to return to CBS’ “Two and a Half Men”?

According to NBC’s Jeff Rosen, CBS is courting the recently fired actor.

“Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal,” Rosen Tweeted on Monday. Adding in another Tweet, “Per my sources: CBS is happy to have Charlie Sheen back on show…IF Warner Bros, Chuck Lorre, and Sheen can settle differences.”

A source told Access Hollywood that discussions about Sheen’s possible return to the CBS hit comedy began last Wednesday.

A rep for Warner Bros. told Access, “No comment on speculation,” while a rep from CBS would not comment.

A rep for Sheen also had no comment.

While Sheen’s future with CBS might still be unknown, Access’ Billy Bush spoke to Mark Cuban on Monday for “The Billy Bush Show” about the possibility of the actor getting a reality series on the NBA owner and business tycoon’s HDNet.

“What we do with Charlie will be interesting to see,” Mark told Billy. “We’re going to meet, today actually, and talk some more about what those opportunities are. You know, Charlie’s a smart guy and I don’t think he’s getting nearly as much credit as he deserves for just how much he’s manipulating the media and those around him to his benefit and I think that would make a good reality show. So, we’re going to talk some more. Nothing’s finalized but we’re going to talk some more.

“Charlie’s smart, he knows exactly what he’s doing. I think he gets juiced telling all these people telling him what he’s doing… Charlie’s got a vision. Charlie knows how he’s going to execute on his vision. And as long as he doesn’t have some people around him giving and him taking some bad advice, then he’s going to continue to be in great shape,” he continued.

Mark told Billy, that HDNet could be involved in the actor’s upcoming “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour.

“We can tape and broadcast his tour, we can broadcast that live into theaters. We could do a movie. We could put it on DVD on Magnolia,” Mark said. “That’s where my mind is turning and going. That’s where my mind is going but at the end of the day, it’s going to be Charlie’s call. We haven’t made any final commitments.”

Also on Monday, FOX sources told Access that Sheen met with FOX Sports president David Hill, FOX entertainment chairman Peter Rice and President of Alternative Entertainment for FOX, Mike Darnell, about possible projects with the actor.
