Katie Holmes could be the next Hollywood star to spend some time on a Broadway stage.
“There are discussions” for Katie to star in a revival of Arthur Miller’s, “All My Sons,” a rep for the actress told Access Hollywood.
If she does join the production, Katie would play the role of a woman who visits the family of her lover, a pilot, after he goes missing, according to a report in People. The Miller play would mark Katie’s first return to the stage since her high school acting days, according to People.
But could a stint on the Great White Way kick start Katie’s acting career?
A London theater expert told Britain’s Daily Mail, “This play will be like a shop window for Katie. The aim is to remind people of her acting chops. It’s kind of a neat idea.”
“Nicole Kidman had Hollywood eating out of her hand when she was in ‘The Blue Room’,” the expert added, making comparisons to the career of a former Tom Cruise spouse.
If Katie does take the role, she will have the chance to wow Broadway audiences up to eight times a week.
