It’s Hats Off To ‘Sex And The City’ As Film Premieres In London

In a hat that would make Carrie Bradshaw’s ex, Jack Berger, cringe but make fashion fans around the world giddy, Sarah Jessica Parker and the ladies from “Sex and the City,” hit London for the world premiere of their new film.

“We were all able to indulge some whimsy of our own,” Sarah Jessica told Access of her attire and those of her movie co-stars.

As for her dress, SJP donned a green Alexander McQueen number, but it was the over-the-top headdress by Philip Treacy, which caused a frenzy in Britain’s capital city.

“It was miraculous and dream like,” Sarah Jessica said of the large crowds who cheered her and her flower-topped hat on. “It’s a very exciting way to kick off this adventure!”

Kim Cattrall opted for a rock n’ roll red Vivienne Westwood number for the affair, while Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, wore a black Calvin Klein number.

In just two weeks the movie will make it’s Big Apple debut, but the delay is for good reason.

“Well, we’re kind of building to our New York premiere,” Cynthia told Access.

“There’s enough for us to be spread around,” Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte, added. “It will be huge.”
