They’ve been dating for less than two months, but things seem to getting serious for “Dancing with the Stars” professional Mark Ballas and booted “American Idol” finalist Pia Toscano.
Following Pia’s return to the “Idol” stage for Wednesday’s finale (she performed with the show’s Top 12 ladies in a Beyonce tribute and during the show open), Mark, 25, took to Twitter to profess his Pia pride and dropped the big “L” word!
“Just watched the idol final in NYC.. @PToscanoAI10 is my Champion,” the “Dancing with the Stars” professional Tweeted on Wednesday. “Love you Pi, so proud of you.”
Pia, 22, was equally proud of her charming beau, telling Access she’s proud of Mark’s “DWTS” showing — even though he and partner Chelsea Kane did not earn the mirror ball trophy on Tuesday night.
“Mark’s worked very hard this season,” she told Access Hollywood with a shy smile on the red carpet at the “Idol” finale in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “He made it to the finals, so he did a good job.”
This isn’t the first time the lovebirds have dropped the big “L.”
On Tuesday, Pia Tweeted, “Happy birthday to the amazingly amazing @MarkBallas !!!! 🙂 Love you baby… :)”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Pia opened up about the origin of her then-budding relationship with the ballroom star back in April, during a visit to Access Hollywood Live.
“We both film at CBS so we would bump into each other, and you know, he’s just a really sweet guy,” Pia told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover at the time. “He is a very nice guy.”
