The Jackson family will continue to celebrate the life of Michael Jackson following the star’s private funeral Thursday night.
Access Hollywood has confirmed that the family has booked an Italian restaurant, Villa Sorriso Ristorante, in Pasadena, Calif., for family and guests following the funeral at Forest Lawn Glendale.
According to TMZ, the Jackson family is calling the event a “Celebration of Life.” The family is expected to travel to the restaurant immediately following the funeral proceedings.
Michael’s brother, Randy, reportedly made the reservation and “bought out the facility for the night.”
According to the Villa Sorriso Ristorante Executive Director of Operations, the Jackson family has been frequenting the Pasadena establishment for years.
TMZ reported that more than 150 guests are expected to attend the celebration.
As previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, Jackson’s death at the age of 50 has been ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. The singer’s death certificate has been amended, citing “injection by another” as the fatal injury. No criminal charges have been filed over the singer’s June 25 death.
