Jake Gyllenhaal told Access Hollywood that he worked with “an army of people” while shooting “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” but there was one person who really caught his eye – co-star Gemma Arterton.
“My God, yeah, [Gemma] looked gorgeous,” Jake told Access at the LA premiere of “Prince of Persia,” when asked about his leading lady.
“She always looks gorgeous, but she’s an incredible actor too,” he continued of the former Bond girl-turned-“Prince of Persia” love interest. “So, yeah it wasn’t so bad.”
The 29-year-old star said going to work on the action epic – which hits theaters on May 28 – felt like being at an amazing game.
“The whole thing was like going to a sporting event,” he told Access. “It’s like you’re going to work everyday and you’re passing by hundreds of cars and you finally get there and.. we’re shooting in a stadium essentially with thousands of people — like an army of people. It was incredible.”
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was also honored with an AFI tribute on Monday, echoed Jake’s sentiments about Gemma.
“Oh she’s beautiful,” Jerry told Access. “I mean, nothing wrong looking on Jake either.”
