Move over Da Vinci, Jake Gyllenhaal has his sights set on a different box office “Code.”
Jake is in talks to star in the sci-fi thriller “Source Code,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The story centers on a soldier, who as part of an experimental government program to investigate a terrorist incident, finds himself reliving a series of events that take place on a commuter train just prior to the train exploding.
Production is scheduled to begin in early 2010.
Jake – who last appeared in the 2007 dramas “Rendition” and “Zodiac” – will return to the big screen on December 4 for the war drama “Brothers,” alongside Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman.
He also stars in “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” which hits theaters in May 2010.
