James Van Der Beek is going to be a dad again!
The actor, 36, and his wife, Kimberly, are expecting their third child.
Kimberly announced the happy news on her blog on Friday, writing, “James and I are happy to report that we are expecting our third child this winter!”
The soon-to-be mother of three said she’s already feeling the onset of “nesting mode” and experiencing mood swings.
“I’ve been getting rid of clutter, reconfiguring rooms, reorganizing EVERYTHING etc… my mind doesn’t stop. I’m looking into meditation for that,” she wrote. “All of the craziness, exhaustion and moodiness aside, James and I are beyond elated and feeling so incredibly blessed.”
The couple, who married in 2010, are already parents to 2-year-old Olivia (she’ll be 3 in September) and son Joshua, 17 months, who are happy about the family’s impending arrival.
“Olivia and Joshua are in on the news and seem to be excited about a baby coming into the family,” Kimberly wrote, adding a note of gratitude to her husband. “And James, thank you for being the loving, caring and understanding husband and father that you are.”
James, who will next be seen in CBS’ fall sitcom “Friends with Better Lives,” also Tweeted about the news, writing, “4 + 1 = #thrilled #excited #humbled #outnumbered.”
