Jamie Foxx Wins Big At NAACP Awards

In today’s Verizon Wireless Access V CAST music moment, we hit the NAACP Image Awards, where Jamie Foxx picked up the award for Outstanding Male Artist for his “Unpredictable” CD.

“You getting tired of picking up these awards?” Access Hollywood’s Jamal Munnerlyn asked Jamie.

“No no. This is the award because it’s about music,” Jamie said.

Foxx also gave a shout out to his friend Terrence Howard and Jamal found out why.

“I want so badly for Terrence to experience what I experienced ? him and his whole crew. Because it feels so good and you’re so empowered not just to say ‘Look what I got’ but for your next projects,” Jamie explained. “It’s always fun to share that because somebody shared that with me ? Sidney Poitier and all those cats.”

Well on e thing is for sure, Terrence is certainly on his way. He picked up two Image awards ? Outstanding Actor in a TV Movie for “Lackawanna Blues” and Supporting Actor for “Crash,” which also won best picture.
