Jane Lynch On ‘Glee’s’ Emmy Noms & Her Sue Sylvester Wax Figure

Sue Sylvester is about to be immortalized in wax.

“That’s supposed to happen in July,” Jane Lynch told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts of her “Glee” character’s waxwork arrival at the Madame Tussauds Museum. “It’s Sue Sylvester, the red track suit. It’s going to be kind of weird.”

It’s a happy “weird” for the 49-year-old comedienne, who’s having a banner year, which has included two Emmy nominations a and marriage to longtime love Lara Embry.

“It’s great to say ‘my wife.’ I never thought I would,” Jane said. “A girl saying, ‘My wife,’ it’s pretty amazing. Times have changed.”

She added that her Emmy nominations had come as another surprise.

“It’s completely unexpected, even one is unexpected,” she said of her two acting nominations, one for “Glee” and one for a guest spot on “Two and a Half Men.” “It’s been crazy, it’s been great. I recommend it, I recommend being on a hit television show and getting Emmy nominations.”

Jane also weighed in on the rumors that her younger co-stars have been fooling around on the set of the FOX show.

“They’re great professionals and they have to be laser-focused on their jobs,” she said. “There’s no buffoonery going on.”
