Jane Lynch On Her Divorce: ‘It’s Not A Horrible Thing’

Jane Lynch and Dr. Lara Embry split after three years together and the actress says they are peacefully dealing with the separation.

“It’s not dramatic. It’s not a horrible thing,” the actress said on Monday’s “Larry King Now” online show. “It’s something that we’re dealing with.”

Adding, “It’s two people who just decide it’s better to go apart than stay together.”

According to the 53-year-old “Glee” star, they remain friends and Jane is close with Embry’s daughter Haden.

“All’s good,” she explained. “We have a little girl – she has a little girl who’s very dear to me. She’s 10, and she’s doing great… We have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody’s – especially Haden’s – good in our mind.”

Larry also asked Jane about Cory Monteith’s struggles in the interview that was taped prior to his death.

“He went to rehab, and he’s out now and he’s doing great,” Jane said of her former “Glee” co-star. “He was sober for many, many years. And he’s a young man. So he just had to kind of renew his vows to sobriety.”
