Jane Seymour On Her ‘Dancing’ Return: ‘Thank You Mommy!’

Jane Seymour advanced on “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday night thanks to the inspiration she received from her beloved mom.

Seymour lost her mother, Mieke Frankenberg, a week ago. On Monday, Seymour came back to the competition, this time paying tribute to her mom.

It was a stunning performance with partner Tony Dovolani, but as Access Hollywood found out, the former “Bond” babe, barely remembers getting through it.

“I don’t remember much about last night,” Seymour told Access Hollywood following Tuesday’s show. “When I watched it again, I just don’t think there could have been a better way to honor my mom’s spirit.”

Seymour prepared for Monday’s tango in just two and a half day in London. Practices were fit in around the planning and attending of her mother’s funeral.

Seymour told Access it has been difficult to sleep and her emotions are still raw. The “Dancing” queen however said that the timing of her mother’s death and Monday’s tango – which came one week apart, was no coincidence.

“It has been mentioned by my friends who knew my mom,” she told Access. “They said ‘I think Meike chose her moment.’ If I think about it in retrospect, for this to happen on the Monday actually enabled me to continue. If it had been any other day I don’t think we could never have done it. So yes thank you mommy.”
