Jane Seymour’s Triumphant ‘Dancing’ Return

On Monday night, Jane Seymour made an emotional return to “Dancing with the Stars.”

Her performance was a triumph in the face of tragedy – one week earlier Jane’s mother died in England at the age of 92.

As fans of the show know, Jane originally joined “Dancing” because her mother loved the British version of the program.

On last night’s broadcast, Jane said she will continue on the show, dancing in honor of her mother.

“I’m gonna dance with all the passion and love and pride that I had in my mom and that she had in me,” Seymour told the fans on Monday’s broadcast.

And the first dance for Jane’s mom? A tantalizing tango.

Jane’s husband, James Keach led a standing ovation that left her competitors speechless.

“[It was] dead silent,” Jane’s fellow competitor Mark Cuban told Access Hollywood. “You could see the tears welling up in people’s eyes.”

“It was beautiful,” Jennie Garth said. “I’m sure she made her mom very proud.”

“We’re so proud of her,” Wayne Newton said.

Jane skipped speaking to the press last night. Instead, her friends continued to rally around her.

“We just talked about the funeral and she said it was a beautiful celebration of her mother’s life,” Marie Osmond told Access Hollywood. “There was lots of humor and I talked about [how] my mother’s was the same way.”

As for those judges scores? Jane’s tango was good enough to put her in a three-way tie with Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan and Spice Girl Mel B. All three women earned 9’s from the three “Dancing” judges.
