Janet Jackson Postpones Another Concert Due To Illness

A sick Janet Jackson has postponed another tour date, Access Hollywood has learned.

Janet has pushed back her planned concert at the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Sunday due to “a recent illness,” a rep for the singer told Access.

Janet has pulled out of four other recent dates of her “Rock Witchu” tour, including performances in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Greensboro, North Carolina.

“Janet was hoping to resume her tour in an effort not to disappoint her fans,” the rep said in the statement. “However, after arriving in Greensboro, it became evident that she is not fully recovered. A local doctor advised that she not perform tomorrow.”

The rep noted that Janet’s Atlanta date has been rescheduled for Oct. 19, 2008.

Janet was rushed to the hospital on Monday, Sept. 29, in Montreal after suddenly falling sick during a pre-concert soundcheck. She made another hospital visit earlier this year, when she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA while suffering from the flu in March.
