Jared Leto: Happy With ‘Scuffs & Bruises’ On Oscar

Jared Leto will let you touch his Oscar statue, in fact, he likes it when people get their hands on it.

The “Dallas Buyers Club” star and 30 Seconds To Mars frontman chatted with Access’ Liz Hernandez backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where he explained how his golden statue got so dirty.

“I wasn’t shy with it,” he said of his trophy of Best Supporting Actor, which he previously described as a “filthy mess.”

“I let people kind of take pictures with it and have fun and I think that’s what it’s really about,” the 42-year-old said.

The actor/rocker explained that the statue’s imperfections add to its charm.

“It got some scuffs and bruises, but it’s all the better for it, more personality,” he added.
