Jason Lewis Spotted On ‘Sex And The City 2’ Set

Samantha Jones may have left Malibu and her boyfriend behind at the end of the first “Sex and The City” big screen installment, but it appears her younger man is back.

Jason Lewis, who plays Smith Jerrod, the ex of Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha, was spotted on the “Sex and The City 2” set in New York City on Monday afternoon.

It wasn’t immediately clear with whom Jason — who sported a short, sexy cropped cut and appeared, tanned and toned — was filming, but Kim covered her script pages as she walked to the set yesterday to prevent any potential leaks.

In fact, while filming in September, it was Kim’s uncovered script page that hinted Smith might return – at least through a phone call.

According to the script page, which was enlarged by a U.K. tabloid, Samantha is seated at her desk when a character called Megan – reportedly an assistant – tells her, “Smith Jerrod’s on the phone.”

But if Jason’s presence on set means Smith is hoping to get Samantha back, he may have some competition.

Sexy salt-and-pepper-haired actor Max Ryan has been brought on to play Rikard, a European architect, who crosses paths with Samantha the Hollywood Reporter noted last month.

When asked about her reported new love interest, Kim said her character wasn’t a one-man woman.

“One? One boy toy? You’re limiting Samantha, really,” she told Access. “Without giving away too much, I don’t think fans will be disappointed in Samantha or her voracious appetite.”
