Jay Leno Announces ‘Arsenio Hall Show’ Renewal

Jay Leno has made his first late night appearance since handing over the “Tonight Show” reins to Jimmy Fallon – and it was on “The Arsenio Hall Show.”

Leno visited his pal to help announce that Arsenio’s late night program has been picked up for Season 2.

On Wednesday night’s show, Jay snuck up on Aresnio, surprising the host on stage in front of his crowd, to announce the news.

“We are thrilled that ‘Arsenio’ will be returning for a second season,” Joe DiSalvo, President of Sales at CBS Television Distribution, said in a statement. “We knew Arsenio had a built-in fan base, but he’s also reaching a new generation. This season, ‘Arsenio’ has been the youngest late-night talk show on broadcast television and has given our station partners a real alternative for their late-night lineups.”
