What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend for the Spears clan in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana turned into a scary time for the family.
After running a fever for a while, Britney Spears’ youngest boy, Jayden James Federline, was rushed to the hospital at approximately 1:30 PM on Sunday after he developed a series of allergic reactions, including hives, from something that he ingested.
Spotted on the scene at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in nearby McComb, Mississippi were Spears’ older brother, Bryan, sister Jamie Lynn, son Sean Preston and mom / grandma Lynne, who stayed over night at the hospital with the pop star and her sick little boy.
Members of the family were expected at church Sunday morning, but instead took Jayden to the hospital when his condition didn’t get any better, said a family friend.
A Spears insider tells Access Hollywood that Jayden is “fine.” He is expected to leave the hospital tomorrow.
