Jennifer Aniston Comes To ‘30 Rock’

“Friends” star Jennifer Aniston is returning to NBC, where she’ll guest-star on an episode of “30 Rock,” a source close to Aniston has confirmed to Access Hollywood.

And according to E!, Jen is already filming her spot.

“She is shooting now,” a source told E! “We are not giving out any specifics on her character.”

It’ll be the actress’ first TV appearance since appearing on friend Courteney Cox’s FX drama, “Dirt.”

At “30 Rock,” she’ll be joining a cast with quiet the pedigree – the Tina Fey-led show has been nominated for 17 Emmys for its second season, a record for a comedy. The show’s third season will premiere Oct. 30.

Jen’s had a lot on her plate since her recent breakup with rocker John Mayer.

Splitting her time between New York and Los Angeles, the “Friends” star has been stepping out on her own – and looking for her next project following the four upcoming films she has slated for release in the coming months, which include “Marley & Me,” with Owen Wilson, and the ensemble movie “He’s Just Not That Into You.”

She’ll be at the Toronto Film Festival next week to promote her latest, “Management,” where she plays a traveling art saleswoman.

Jen was also spotted having dinner at Madeo in West Hollywood with director Woody Allen and his wife, Soon Yi, on Tuesday night, where OK! reported that she was shown a few pages from one of his latest scripts.

But perhaps she’s working too much, at least if you ask “Project Runway”’s Tim Gunn. He told OK! the actress looked “desperate.”

“Sometimes I think she has ‘desperate character’ written on her,” Tim told OK! “The clothes we wear send a message. And I think that’s the message — I don’t think that’s her intention though.”

“I can’t help but think that’s she’s pretty high-maintenance,” he added, though he had praise for the star as well.

“She’s a gorgeous woman and she understands her fashion,” Tim said.
