Jennifer Aniston Headed Behind Bars For Next Film

Jennifer Aniston is about to be locked up with the “Girls” for her next film.

Aniston will star in “Goree Girls,” the true story of an all-female country band in a Texas prison in the 1940s, according to Variety.

The film marks the feature directorial debut for Michael Sucsy, who recently helmed the Emmy-nominated “Grey Gardens” for HBO.

“Goree Girls” is based on a 2003 article in Texas Monthly magazine which chronicled the sage of eight women who formed one of the first all-female country acts in the U.S., became huge radio hits and were eventually pardoned.

Production on the film is slated to begin in January.

Aniston will next be seen on the big screen in the romantic comedy “Love Happens,” alongside Aaron Eckhart.

She recently wrapped production on the rom-com “The Baster,” co-starring Jason Bateman, and is currently shooting “The Bounty” with Gerard Butler in New York City.
