Jennifer Hudson Plans Spring Tour

If her fist-pumping Super Bowl performance wasn’t enough, fans can expect to see “a lot more” of Jennifer Hudson in the coming months, her manager told Entertainment Weekly.

“Everybody stay tuned,” Damien Smith told the mag. “You’ll be seeing a lot more of her.”

And not just on TV – the Oscar-winning singer-actress will launch a six-week national tour in late March or early April.

The recording of Jennifer’s moment in the Super Bowl spotlight singing the National Anthem — her first public performance since the murders of her mother, brother and nephew in October – has been released to iTunes, with a portion of the profits to benefit the Hudson-King Foundation. The foundation assists families who have lost relatives to violent crime. Jennifer’s sister’s estranged husband, William Balfour, has been charged with the October murders.

The star is set to perform at the Grammy Awards this Sunday, February 8, with her video for “If This Isn’t Love” to premiere the following week. She’ll also be performing on February 12 at the 40th NAACP Image Awards.
