If you’ve ever wondered what would be on Katniss Everdeen’s iPod, Jennifer Lawrence has an idea.
The actress spoke about her character’s musical tastes at the “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” photocall in London.
Not surprisingly, Katniss would have quite a few songs in collection by Lorde, who curated the movie’s soundtrack and sings “Yellow Flicker Beat” on the soundtrack.

“It was so bizarre really to hear a musical version of what emotionally you feel,” she said of the Lorde song. “She captured that character so magically. I think Katniss would be a huge Lorde fan and obviously Taylor Swift.”
So where will fans find Katniss at the beginning of the new movie?
“She’s completely bare and has to rebuild herself,” she said of Katniss, something the actress explained that she would have trouble coping with. “I would have just been crying every day, ‘Where’s my mom?'”
